SMS Consent
This page documents how Irie Commerce collects consent for SMS messages used for account, store setup, order, customer support, marketplace inquiry, and requested follow-up workflows.
Where users opt in
- Irie Commerce signup and onboarding forms for merchant account messages.
- Store checkout, cart, order, and support flows when a customer requests SMS updates.
- Marketplace inquiry forms when a buyer or merchant requests follow-up.
- Separate marketing opt-in controls when promotional SMS is offered.
Public opt-in form example
Irie Commerce uses this consent language at the point where a phone number is collected. SMS consent is optional and the checkboxes are unchecked by default, so users can continue without agreeing to SMS.
